Randy Curran is the founder of both Pristine Medical Billing and the Pristine Sleep Medical Group. Over the past 17 years, Randy has been dedicated to supporting sleep medicine providers on the financial aspects of their practice. He has assisted thousands of providers by instructing them on proper workflows, medical necessity, documentation requirements, and ethical billing and coding practices. Furthermore, his efforts have helped over 58,000 patients with obstructive sleep apnea gain medical insurance coverage for their treatment.

In addition to his work with Pristine, Randy has lectured for over 500 hours across the nation. His presentations focus on strategies for securing payments from insurance carriers and protecting those payments from potential audits and clawbacks.

Staci brings over 25 years of experience in the medical field, dedicating the past 10 years to dental sleep medicine. She takes pleasure in assisting practices to thrive while addressing the complexities of medical billing. Working alongside some of the industry’s top professionals has enhanced her knowledge and intensified her dedication to patient care. Her focus lies in making a significant impact and improving people’s well-being.

Joey has dedicated more than 11 years to dental sleep medicine. His background in diagnostic sleep testing gives him a deep understanding of patient workflows and the business elements of both sleep medicine and dental sleep medicine. He is always eager to share his knowledge of medical billing, insurance reimbursement, and best practices with others.

With nearly 11 years of experience in dental sleep medicine (DSM) billing, Kyle began his career during college as part of the team that launched Pristine, quickly advancing through every level of operations—from verifying benefits and managing claims to overseeing practices and leading support teams. He has onboarded over 600 practices and is helping doctors optimize and grow their sleep programs. Kyle oversees our operations to ensure we deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards.

Leslie is a highly experienced Medical Billing Specialist with over 14 years of expertise spanning the full healthcare revenue cycle. Since 2010, she has supported a broad spectrum of medical specialties, including Anesthesia, Oncology, General Surgery, hospital-based Facility billing, and most recently, sleep therapy billing for oral appliance treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Her extensive background enables her to navigate the complexities of both professional and facility billing environments with precision.

With over 10 years of experience in both a busy dental sleep medicine practice and a leading billing service, Monica has shared her knowledge and expertise with hundreds of dental practices. She specializes in training dental offices on case presentation and providing an in-depth understanding of each patient’s medical insurance coverage. During her time in the dental sleep medicine practice, she discovered her passion for oral appliance therapy. Contributing to the improvement of patients’ lives and potentially saving their lives became her “why.”

Chandra has 10 years as an Insurance Verification Specialist, bridging insurance carriers and clinical practice. She verifies coverage to ensure accurate reimbursement and prevent patient surprises. Her meticulous, detail-oriented approach and industry knowledge maintain trust with practices and patients.

With 3 years of experience in medical billing, Kaya has developed a keen understanding of the complexities involved in healthcare reimbursement processes. Her expertise in dental sleep medicine allows her to connect dental practices with medical insurance, facilitating smooth claims processing and excellent patient care.

Zachary has 8 years of experience as a pre-authorization specialist. He oversees authorizations and single-case agreements for out-of-network providers to enhance reimbursement. Having been part of Pristine since its inception, Zach takes immense pride in each pre-authorization approval.

Jeriann has worked in the medical field for over 20 years and has been involved in medical billing for 15 years. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience and consistently strives to bring compassion and care to every situation. Helping people and making a difference in their lives is what keeps her passionate about this work.

Julie has over 10 years of experience with Medicare enrollments and credentialing, ensuring that healthcare providers are accurately credentialed and enrolled in Medicare programs. She possesses strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of Medicare regulations and procedures, which enable practices to access the largest medical insurance carrier in the nation while providing a pathway to care for millions of patients across the country.

Nicole brings 23 years of experience in medical billing, having dedicated the last 8 years to sleep physician billing. She processes thousands of patients each month to qualify them for sleep studies and telemedicine visits. Nicole finds great fulfillment in helping patients take the first step toward determining if they have Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Understanding that she is positively impacting a patient’s life and guiding them toward improved sleep is genuinely rewarding.

Shay has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. She has spent the last 8 years at Pristine. As an account manager, she is dedicated to working with our providers and helping them achieve their success.

Serena has dedicated the last 10 years of her career to working directly with patients in one of the most successful dental sleep medicine practices in Southern California. She has now transitioned to a role with Pristine, where she assists dental practices in venturing into the world of dental sleep medicine by utilizing her hands-on experience and knowledge. She continues to uphold Dr. Todd Morgan’s passion for helping patients achieve a better night’s sleep and restore their health.

Amanda has over 6 years of experience in dental sleep medicine. As an account manager, she specializes in directly assisting our providers in achieving success. Her military background has taught her the discipline needed to work with insurance carriers and their strict medical policies, ensuring not only medical coverage but also that the practice is prepared for medical necessity documentation requests.

Viri has 14 years of experience in the medical field and has been with Pristine since 2019. She works as a support specialist, verifying member benefits and assisting the authorization department with status updates.

Liana has five years of dedicated service at Pristine Medical Billing, where she takes pride in supporting providers with professionalism and care. She currently specializes in out-of-network enrollments and assists with Medicare enrollments to help providers broaden their billing options.

Rosa has worked at Pristine for four years, supporting the claims department in dental sleep medicine and sleep medicine. Currently, she helps the sleep physician team with Sleep Study and telemedicine claims by submitting medical records, tracking claim statuses, posting payments, rebilling or correcting claims, and handling funds to settle open balances.

Kalee has over 7 years of experience in the medical industry, including 4 years at Pristine. She currently works as a Medical Biller and has also held roles in Insurance Verification and as a Prior Authorization Specialist. Her comprehensive knowledge of the entire billing process enables her to effectively manage the intricacies of health insurance, ensuring our providers receive accurate payments. 

Takami has spent 3 years as a medical biller at Pristine, gaining solid skills in handling claims and insurance procedures. She is dedicated to assisting both patients and the medical team by ensuring billing is smooth and accurate.

Brady has been with Pristine for over two years and has equivalent experience in the medical and dental sleep medicine field. He specializes in insurance verifications, helping patients navigate their coverage and benefits with care and attention to detail. Brady takes pride in making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for everyone involved.

Rhiannon has over 10 years of medical experience, including 7 years at Pristine Medical Billing, where she specializes in optimizing billing processes and navigating complex health insurance requirements. She is committed to helping dental providers achieve increased accuracy, efficiency, and financial success in their dental sleep medicine practice.

Michael has been with Pristine Medical Billing for a year, starting in authorizations and now supporting United Healthcare initiations. This progression has helped me expand my skills and contribute more effectively to team operations.
